Cancellation and Refund Policy

Accepted Answer

You can reschedule your appointment up until 48 hours before your session via the link in
your confirmation email.

Cancellations can be processed up until 24 hours before your session. Refunds for cancelled
sessions are processed manually and can take 5 business days to show in your account.

If you miss your session, there is a strict no refunds or reschedule policy. Please make sure
you add your appointment to your calendar to avoid disappointment.

Are Health Insurance Rebates Available?

Rebates are available with selected private health insurers.  I recommend contacting your
insurer directly to confirm coverage and inquire about potential rebates for services.

Medicare mental health plan rebate is not currently available for psychotherapy or
counselling within Australia, only for psychology clients with a valid Mental Health
Treatment Plan.

How many sessions will I need before I notice a shift?

Therapy is a personalised and unique healing path and so, the duration of your journey
depends entirely on you, your goals, and your life experience.

During your first session, we will explore an approach and a suggested therapy plan to best
suit your goals. As you progress and your needs evolve, we adjust this process together,
ensuring it aligns with you.

For some, paths such as healing from trauma, often require a longer duration of sessions
and a greater commitment to consistency in attendance. In these cases it can be helpful to
begin with a commitment to six fortnightly sessions and a review moving forward. Some
clients find that engagement in the therapeutic relationship over 12-18 months, often
through monthly sessions, can create a more integrated shift that is sustainable and
grounded in a life approach moving forward.
